2. What does the quote actually include? A good quote is clear about what is and is not covered: labour, materials, plant supply, and crucially the clean-up and removal of green waste. Vague quotes are where surprises and extra charges hide. We put it in writing so you know the price before any work starts.

3. Who is actually doing the work, and will they turn up? Ask who will be on site and whether it is the same team each visit. Reliability is the single most common thing people complain about with gardeners. 4. How do you handle plant health and the environment? The answer tells you a lot. 5. What happens if something is not right? A professional stands behind their work and will come back to put something right rather than disappear. Honest communication when there is a problem matters more than a job where nothing ever goes slightly wrong, because in real gardens, things come up.
